This flat tarp can be set up in a variety of pitch configurations adapting to weather and group size for sleeping and even serve as a hangout place for cooking in the rain. What sets the NFT apart is the subtle catenary curves around the long edges, making for a taut pitch in the A-frame configuration unlike straight edge tarps. However, the SlingFin team didn't add a catenary cut to the ridgeline seam so your pitching configurations wouldn't be limited to just an A-frame. Cord tensioners make for a Non Frustrating Tensioning experience when setting up with trekking poles. Nylon Fabric Technology is packable, absorbs less water, and sags less. Packable, Lightweight, and with unlimited pitch configurations, the NFT is a New Functional Take on a classic tarp!
